Sad to see he is so far out his depth it is embarrassing. At fault for all three goals against Norwich . As much as I hate to admit it Sean Dyce was right not to play him for Burnley.
I always thought Ayala was the more important player for us (I’m not claiming Ayala is a PL player - imagine how many pens he’d concede with Var!)Sad to see he is so far out his depth it is embarrassing. Ben Gibson looks exposed under Agnew, his performances dipped. His best performances were under karankaBen Gibson acquitted himself well enough for us in the relegation season, it wasn't conceding goals that was the issue. One poor performance shouldn't define him and if we're honest we'd all be happy to have him back at the Boro.
I don't disagree with that that all but that was the whole team. Gibson and Ayala were superb together under Karanka and Gibson has been a regular three seasons in the Chamionship for teams that got, or almost got promoted (twice at Boro, once at Norwich).Ben Gibson looks exposed under Agnew, his performances dipped. Let's not forget Liverpool are not the best, when he comes up against the likes of Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea. If you put a man on the edge of the box against these teams and it happens to be Gibson there is only going to be one outcome.I thought he played well and played some lovely passes out from the back. Tough afternoon against those strikers but which centre half has it easy against Liverpool.

I agree 100% and I would love to see him back at the Boro. I'd have him back tomorrow
Absolutely he would suit Warnock and I would love him back at Boro, but I still think he is not a Premiership player. Perhaps a manager like Neil Warnock could make him one.He would suit a Warnock side down to the ground.
7Same he would be a decent sub for us
