What's Gus going to say to Eladio and co. after the mess Lalo made last week :ROFLMAO:

Just watched it.

What’s the significance of that Wine connoisseur???

Is that the last we’ve seen of Kim??? Surely not !!!!

It’s building nicely !!

I was wondering the same

Perhaps the wine is for when the lab is finally complete??? A celebration to the end of Lalo and the nearing of completion of the lab ... ha ha

But surely more to it than that

I think if we see any more of Kim, it will be the next episode then that is it .. I just can't buy into the Gene/Kim reunion some talk about at the end, I can't see how it would happen

I thought Dr. Caldera's little black book would come into play by now again, as Kim asking about that Best Quality Vacuum card can't be just something she happened to ask about the nothing else. I think she will use him to go, though sadly the great Robert Forster won't be around to play him again, a voice double I'm guessing if he comes back into it

Walt and Jesse appearing is coming very close, also .. as at end of the episode Saul got the call about the 'public masturbation' case and BB fans will remember, that is the charge Badger got mixed up for by Saul's office .. surely that is Badger haha

*edit , wrong about Badger as just noticed dates on Saul's plates etc, doesn't tie up yet

It's strongly hinted in BB that Gus was in a gay relationship with is business partner Max, who was murdered around Don Eladio's pool by Eladio and Hector Salamanca.

So I guess this scene where Gus is clearly enjoying the company of this gentleman shows what his life could have had if he hadn't dedicate all his time and effort into getting revenge on Eladio and the Salamancas.

I’ve never been geeky enough to over analyse all the Breaking Bad references and I’ve forgotten most of it anyway cos I watched it years ago - but that was my first thought - that he was either Gus’s lover or at the very least someone he was attracted to. Was just a bit left field.

It's the life he can't have, it was a brief escape.
Thats was my take, he got lost in the moment, chatting to the sommelier (who he was clearly attracted to), but then he snaps back to reality when he remembers the demise of his murdered partner.

On the whole the series has so far surpassed my expectations, and I had hight hopes too. The camera work and story are outstanding; the use of visuals and silences make it one of my favourite series I think.

Ah! It never came to mind about his rumored sexuality re; Gus Fring ... well remembered, chaps .. I missed that one. And consider myself a superfan, shame on me.

I can't wait to see how the Gene story wraps up ... and indeed, Kim's.

Also, very interested to see how they're gonna have Walter and Jesse appear. I hope it is more than just a few minutes each in an episode. Would have liked to see more of Hank and Gomey, too.
