Yesterday's edition from Feb 1977. Hull v Bolton.
Up front for Hull, John Hickton. I can't remember him making that move. Anyone know how many games he played for them? Hull got a last minute pen and he didn't take it which I found surprising
 
Ah that would have been rare footage of him in another football shirt. He went on loan for a brief period in the 1976-77 season when Jack Charlton saw the need to strengthen our attack with the acquisition of Alf Wood. Johnny’s chances were on the wain in that season. He played just 6 games on loan scoring 1 goal before returning to Boro.

I think it was a loan move and he played for us again on his return.

I honestly cant recall him playing for them but seeing as it was only 6 game unsurprising
