"Rod Stewart - Rio - 1994 - 3.5 Million
Jean-Michel Jarre - Moscow - 1997 - 3.5 Million"

What?
How?
How were 3.5 million people in one place to see on person on stage? How did anyone at the back even know where they were and what they were there for?
I cant even fathom how big a 3.5 million crowd looks and how they can all be near enough to a stage to hear.

Not sure I believe the crowds of 1m plus.
I mean we couldn't even get 20k into Teesside airport.

I googled a few of those, one from Rio is just a beach full its hard to gauge the crowd but im not having multi-millions of people are there or were at any of these, no chance.

Those are good points!

I think the figures are BS.

But I do know back in the day Jarre basically turned the centre of the city into a giant landscape.
As he did in Houston 1986. Pretty impressive for 35 years ago.
