Bilic sacked. Wilder to take over

So the question now is whether Wilder can get to the end of the season before he presses the self destruct button?

13 or so games to turn a bunch of individuals into a team? I'm not sure it's doable but you never know.

I personally think we would rip a Wilder team apart at the moment.

11 games.
He took over our squad in a worse position, with weaker players, and got 23 points in the first 11 games.

They'd probably be in the play-offs with that return.

There's also an international break after next Saturday.

I hope he **** up, but it's got me concerned.

Probably rather face Watford than WBA in the playoffs!

The fallout from a theoretical play-off defeat would be far greater if the manager who beat us was one who was sacked by us earlier in the season.

Especially if Watford then got promoted.

Something I'd prefer to avoid.

Watford are the epitome of a Head Coach club. Players brought in via a recruitment team etc. and the fella in charge has to mould them into a team, something Wilder struggles with massively. Odd choice for him and for Watford by my reckoning

Does that not work both ways?
