BLACKPOOL TICKETS

I'm afraid it's you who doesn't have a clue.

If we sold out inside half hour or so, then yes, you could argue they got the first level of points, incorrect.

However, they didn't sell out to 140+ points, meaning even if they did initially set the target needed to 170 or 180+ points, then those with points between 140-170/180 would still have had an opportunity to get tickets for this game.

Feel free to continue to moan and grown though.
You’ve proven again that your don’t understand the point being made.

“Staggering the points on this occasion would have made no difference” is just an outright stupid statement.

You might have been alright getting a couple of tickets, try getting 10 tickets. You’re limited to 6 per transaction for a start. Then when they went in the basket they were gone, so another line of seats would be chosen, gone. This happened multiple times as the initial tickets quickly sold out.

Then once I’d finally got six tickets I managed to get the next four tickets, two blocks across from where the others were located.

So we’re going to have to split into a 6 and r and sit apart, which is fine but it’s unnecessary. Never had to do that for any away game last season.

All these are season tickets that had 180+ points, some nearly 200.

I thought you were a massive supporter of this priority points scheme? Why didn’t we get priority over those who haven’t been to an away game in two seasons?

If they had staggered the points windows I could have gone in and comfortably got us all in the same row or even block with no stress or hassle. As it was it was a giant headache and I had to just buy whatever I could as the club hadn’t communicated anything about additional allocations.

Oh but tell me again how it would have made no difference?

In other words, if they had staggered the points windows in a way that was to your satisfaction then you could have got you and your mates all together. But if they staggered them in a different way such that some in your group fell into a different window then you would have been moaning.

First of all, I totally agree with us having a loyalty scheme. And I also initially said that the points for Blackpool needed should've been a lot higher than 140+ - as I, like many others, thought this game would be in high demand.

As it was, tickets didn't sell out as fast as I thought they actually would based on needing 140+.

MFC did state there would be more tickets available if/when the first batch of 1,800 were sold.

As for wanting 10 seats in a row, who's to say you'd have been able to do that even if the points needed were 180+ as this game was always going to be very popular.

There is probably 1 more block to come in that stand which will hold about 5-600. Then you have the corner sections which is what Derby probably got as well but I'm not sure we will.

Absolute nonsense, you’re just making stuff up.

How could they have staggered it in a way that didn’t benefit me?

I'm not making anything up. Unless you and your mates all have exactly the same number of points then there could be a situation where a window would put some of your mates on one side and the rest on the other. And you'd be moaning.

Again, how could they have staggered it that didn’t benefit me and would have resulted in me moaning?

If you travel there together, and back, does it matter if you ALL stand next to each other for 90 min? Long as you're with a couple of mates, i never understood groups of 10+ needing to get tickets together. We always just get the train or bus together then buy tickets in groups of 3,4,5

You literally said all your mates have 180+ points, and some have over 200.

So if the first batch of tickets were only available to those with 200+ points....this means not all your mates could get tickets at the same time.

Then what happens if most of the tickets at 200+ sell out (resulting in there being no 10 seats together), meaning your mates who didn't qualify for 200+ won't get to sit next to each other...

You a obviously missed where I said “which is fine but it’s unnecessary. Never had to do that for any away game last season.”

Nope I’d have been happy with that, because rather than thousands swarming onto the system at once it would have been hundreds.

So you’re wrong.
