That was about as bad as it got. Lumley's Gianluigi Buffon compared to that clown.
 
I remember that team like it was what`s left at the end of a jumble sale.
There`s four players there worth the shirt.
 
Makes sense, I remember Danny Begara being on the coach staff around that time.

"There`s four players there worth the shirt." - Bit harsh I'd say 6 or 7 if they were at their best, the whole of the defence were Div 2 class, Big Archie, Gary Rowell and Beargrie also but guess Rowell and Tony Mac were knackered by that point.

I was a big fan of Gary Rowell, the late, great Willie Maddren bought him for £20k from Norwich, with £10k down & the rest after so many appearences, the 2nd £10k didnt get paid
WM lost his job, Bruce took over when he played under Rioch in 4 consecutive games then no more, obviously the club couldnt afford to trigger the 2nd part of his transfer
