Big boro fan to boot…

Not so sure about that. He was a guest on Radio Cleveland shortly after we won the the Carling Cup in 2004. When asked about the match he said he heard the result while he was driving (he did say where) and how elated/proud etc. he was.
I'm sure a 'big Boro fan' would've found the time to watch one of the biggest games in the clubs history on TV at least.
