Boro players that played AGAINST England

I remember Juninho was on the bench against England at the 2002 World Cup but I can't remember if he came on or not.

Seem to recall Boro fans getting a lot of stick online from some of the more Tommy Robinson end of the England support for cheering Nemeth when he played v England at the Riverside.

I seem to recall Boateng and de Roon both playing for Netherlands against England as Boro players, different games obviously!

Boateng played against England before he joined us, he was at Villa at the time. De Roon was two years after he left.

Christian Ziege - Euro 2000. Or was he not with us by then?
He had signed for Liverpool by then. He played for us that season and he hadn't played for them yet by that point.

Joseph Job. Made his international debut against England.
Played against England before we signed him. Cameroon played England while he was with us but he wasn't in the squad.

Ah, didn’t realise they had to be with Boro at the time.

What about John Mahoney for Wales in the British Championship when he was with us around 1978?

I think Derek Whyte was in the Scotland squad at Euro 96, but didn’t play against England?

Didn't come on in that match. Started the previous 4, they dropped him for the England match for Kleberson and he didn't play again until he came on in the final for Ronaldinho.

Kleberson probably got his Man Utd move off the back of it.
