Boro's best match of 2023

Easily Sheff U. Introduced the bullies to football, gave them a preview of what they could expect in 23/24.

Without a doubt Sheff United away, what makes it even better I was there to watch the dismantling of them in there own back yard 👍

Of the games I went to, Leicester at home

I was bouncing coming out the ground having beaten a (probably) premier league bound team with lots of premier standard players

Sheff Utd for me. By a Mile.
In the first 10 mins I thought they would blow us away. Then we got our foot on the ball and dismantled them.
Heckingarse kicking the electronic board and getting sent off.
One of their players arguing with a fan while taking a throw in.
Current and ex-players on their podcast despondent and convinced we would take 2nd place off them.
But......."We're not rattled". Yeah, OK 😄

Sunderland for me. Even at 11 v 11 we would have beaten them. They never laid a glove on us in that first half.

2nd half was the perfect performance against 10 - who usually dig in and make it hard - but we carved them open, topped off when O'Nein made a tw@t of himself trying to rip the shirt off Lath when he should have been getting back to stop Jones slotting it home for 0-3 :ROFLMAO:

Their heaviest ever defeat to us on their own patch too (y)

100% Sheffield United.

Demolished a side who'd been in incredible form and were cantering to promotion and for a brief moment with their slip-ups after that, it looked like the stars were aligning.

Sadly our form left us at just the wrong time.
