His work in the US is amazing it was a real coup to get him.

Am I right in thinking the bottle was his only work in the UK.

I actually met him and his wife wandering around middlesbrough centre square in the days before mima was built. Just asked me what all the buildings were, and i pointed out the town hall, law courts, registry office, library, duck pond and the empire. Not surprised when bottle was located where it was put. Near water, especially with its captain cook connection.. His wife was really lovely and interested. But i said i had to get going as i had to sign on at the time lol

More art is exactly what we need across our towns and cities. With the death of the high street and the lack of independent shops our towns are becoming pretty soulless places.
