It certainly beats Pulis giving up and taking his staff to the fish and chip shop after failing to land any targets on deadline day two years ago and suggests Gibson has more faith in Warnock than he had in TP.

While Bolasie, Kebano and Mendez-Laing all have the potential to be the next Rajiv Van La Parra, you would have thought that at least one of them will kick on and make a significant improvement to our attack.

In letting Wing go and leaving us short in midfield, I think the days of playing Morsy, Saville and Howson in the central 3 are over and Neil has plans for a new more dynamic formation which only requires 2 sitting midfielders.

This window has felt very different. I think Warnock has done a lot of the leg work rather than just telling the club who he wants and hoping for the best. I'm sure Bausor has played his part, but Gibson and the club have backed Warnock and its brilliant to see.
