Buckfast ( the drink ) ?.

Glaswegian lad I sit next to at work loves it.has two bottles most nights. (Yes I think he has a drink probem)

My only experience of buckfast was one night when working in Aberdeen and it didn't end well. I'd had a few cans then went onto the Buckie. Had 2 x 1L bottles. Sent me loopy. Not usually an aggressive drunk but started trying to fight the lads I was with. Spewed all over myself in the night. Never again.

It's a tonic. Like a fortified wine. Reminded me of port if I remember correctly but it was a long time ago and only had it that once.

Just as an added extra. My mate has an app that locates all the shops in the UK that sell it . Obviously not so common round here. He used to get a shop in Marton to stock it for him

1 bottle is just nice 2 is too much, full of caffeine so don't sleep the best, I used to get 2 bottles for a fiver a few years ago to bring home from working away, I could only find it in bargain booze in Ormesby now its in most shop's at £9 still worth it tho
