I have a SC and am buying a ticket for someone to come along to the Watford game.

Do I need to assign it to myself on checkout?

If they don't have an account, that's probably the best way. If they go regularly (or even irregularly but plan on going again at some point), they should have an account and collect the priority points. As 9 priority points from 3 home games could be the difference between getting a ticket for a potential play-off semi and not getting a ticket etc.

Thanks. They don’t have an account but I’ll recommend they get one sorted for future.

Probably depends on if it is digital or a physical ticket

I have bought physical tickets at the ticket office and the priority points have been given to other people I have named. No admin charges at the ticket office neither.

In my experience you can’t buy a ticket for anyone who doesn’t have an account online.

You have to phone or visit the ticket office.

I sent a ranty email to the ticket office about it when I wanted to bring a mate a few years ago. Outgoing ticket office manager rang me and we had a lovely chat. Mainly about what a mess the customer database was in (he found four different versions of me) and why he was leaving…..
