I surf so it’s for when there’s no waves and I can skate up and down Saltburn prom. I’m 52 so it might just gather dust!
I couldn't find the one I don't use any more. I have looked, sorry.Do you have a spare Capo by any chance? My 8 year old has started playing and we went into two shops this weekend who had no capos in stock. How the hell does a guitar shop not have capos?
I bought the Ibanez AR220... oh dear...Fast forward to tomorrow night.
”What? This old thing? Oh, I’ve had this ages…”
Nice guitars themI bought the Ibanez AR220... oh dear...
As in keeping with the OP’s theme Hap, if you know of anyone who is just starting out and needs some equipment, I have the following going spare which I bought and have never got around to using:Guitar accessories. Lots of them. Its compulsive… I need help
I have given two acoustics and a POD multi effects processor away, to youngsters, myself. Its a shame to see instruments unplayed. As in keeping with the OP’s theme Hap, if you know of anyone who is just starting out and needs some equipment, I have the following going spare which I bought and have never got around to using:
Squire electric guitar.
Marshall house amp.
Carrying case, stand, loads of spare plectrums.
I would prefer to let them go as a package.
Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Wah pedal. Bought it in the early nineties because everyone was using wah pedals, took it out of the box, messed around with it for about half an hour, realised that I had no use for it, put it back in the box, gave it away to a friend a year or so later.Guitar accessories. Lots of them. Its compulsive… I need help
Same here. Could not get the sump plug out of the missus Mini.Just found an unopened 5 litre bottle of engine oil bought about 10 years ago for a car which I sold ages ago
Never gonna use it
Ahh don't be silly mateI couldn't find the one I don't use any more. I have looked, sorry.
This is another symptom of buying things that you don't need. You can't find specific things...
There’s a song lyric in there…I surf so it’s for when there’s no waves and I can skate up and down Saltburn prom. I’m 52 so it might just gather dust!
I spent a fortune buying and modifying a fender squire 51. A strat, P bass, crossover. Supposedly a really underrated guitar.I had a bout of guitaritis the past few years, one way to arrest it, buy a kit guitar and pledge to yourself, no more until this is completed. I managed to do this, then I went and bought an electric keyboard.
I fancy getting a breadmaker not to use. But I think I already have one somewhere. Don't use it. Although I do occasionally make bread.I bought a breadmaker at the start of lockdown. It has remained locked down.
Ditto glover. My wife likes buying tat from charity shops, keep em for a month then return them.My wife has a compulsion for buying stuff to put in the house i dont mind but whats irritating is when i ask where the item is going shes bought the item without a place for it in mind.
