Just found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in Steve Gibson's backyard.
There was a note under the pot which said......

FAO, Michael: can you an Woody and Neil an Danksy spend it wisely.
There's more at the other end.

No, the Northern lights are normally a night time phenomenon usually best observed late night and/or the early hours of the morning. Hope that is enlightening.
