Captain Cook's Birthday Party

We've got a packed day planned for Thursday, full of family fun, including the opportunity to meet the Cook Islands Rugby League team ahead of their big game this weekend.
Activities include*:
Make a flower crown or garland craft (10am to 3.30pm)
Write a birthday wish or special message on seeded paper to help us make a beautiful flower bed (10am to 3.30pm)
See the Cook Islands collection with the museum team (10am to 4pm)
Take a captain Cook walk & tour with Cook Trust Members Martin Peagam and Rob Nichols (10.30am to 1.30pm)
See the Cook Islands Rugby League team and check out a presentation of gifts made by local school children (2-3pm)
Cake cutting to commemorate Captain Cook's 294th birthday! You might even get to enjoy a slice or two... (3pm)
Museum admission applies: £4 for adults, £2.50 for children/concessions and all activities are free. No need to book, just turn up and enjoy the fun!
