Same here. First half was a non-event; we couldn't string two passes together and nothing was sticking up front. That said, Hibs were also poor and we were fairly well-organised defensively.

Start of the second half, Hibs came out fast and we were lucky not to concede. Akpom made a huge difference. First time I've seen him live and he reminds me of Ricard; Hibs couldn't get the ball off him.

Finch made a good run for the second goal; he spotted Akpom's run and dropped off a bit in case the cross was overhit. Finch did quite well as a wide attacker. Once the second goal went in, the fight went out of Hibs and we were on easy street.

Overall, the game could easily have been a draw and it would have felt a fair result. Does look like we may be very reliant of Akpom and Giles. Crooks gave the #10 role a go but had no impact; I think he struggles to get involved when he has to stay high up the pitch. I wonder what has happened with Bola. I can see that the likes of Steffen, Fry and Jones were rested but Bola not getting any minutes is odd. Collins did ok at left back in the first half but he didn't look ready to step into the first team. Without Bola, one knock to Giles and I really don't know who is playing at left back. Possibly Clarke when he recovers.
 
Finch only 17 last August.
Wonder if Anfernee and Bola might be on their way in January?
Crooks first game back after the hernia opp.
Must keep Giles when his loan finishes.
Mowatt has to go.
Lots of "talk" through agents and media that Jones could be on his way?
I reckon Michael Carrick will sort that one out.
He`s often reassuring Jones and he`s just the type of Manager Jones needs to keep him where he is and allow him to flourish.
Lots to look forward to.

Bola is good to have as cover, Dijksteel for me, is one of our best players and would be very surprised to see the club let him go anywhere.
