A win for Southampton at Cardiff could put them within a point of Leicester, if the Foxes lose at home to the fifth place Baggies. Queens Park Rangers need the points at home against tenth-place Preston to keep them out of the relegation dog-fight. Birmingham need a win at Rotherham, whilst Sheffield Wednesday play tomorrow at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers, only five points above them. Surely Blackburn's top striker [Sammie Szmodics - 24 league goals] will be on his way at the end of the season? Hopefully, Plymouth need at least a point at Stoke to keep the threat of relegation away from their door? Hull need all three points against Watford to be in with any chance of catching in form Norwich. Hull sit seventh with a game in hand, facing a Bristol City side who are on form. Hull have been around the top half of the table most of the season, but could miss out on the play-offs if results don't go their way. Our local "rivals", seven points and four places behind us and 17th in the form table, face lowly Millwall at the dusty bowl.

Hopefully Leeds and Leicester stay down, as both are in for big points deductions next season. Obviously much better for us if they're in our division when that happens.

I was reading that only 4 of the current teams are definitely going to be in the championship next season!
I haven't checked the maths, but it's pretty incredible.

* Of the last seven league encounters, Foxes have Won 5, drawn 1 and lost 1.
Foxe's last defeat was 2-1 at King Power in Nov 2016 in the Premier League.

* Sunderland haven't won a league game at home since 10th February when they beat Plymouth 3-1.
They have only won one away game since then: West Brom by a 1-0 scoreline last Saturday.

"It's about finding a good balance. With the Championship being so intense, if you take that home with you, you'll go a bit mental." [Daily Echo].

Gary Rowett takes charge of the 538`th game in his Managerial career today, away to Rotherham.

West Brom lose and we're not mathematically out of the play-off hunt yet 😂

Beat Leeds and we'd be 6 points off with 2 to play for.

Obviously we're not making it now, but it would be nice if we could finish something like 7th but 3 points off.

Looking at our current form, it was just too little a tad too late. Norwich hit form at the exact same time we did. Oh but for injuries.

Anywhoo, if Norwich lose today, it's back on lads!

An exciting season beckons for Pompey, back in the Championship after an absence of 12 years.
If the club next door don't go up, it will make for two glorious "derby's".
🚢

Informs me Foxes are bricking it!
So they should: seventeen [17!] points clear at one stage, now could end up in the play-offs.

West Brom are all over Leicester, they should be a few goals up already.
I just came on to post almost those exact words. They should probably have scored at least 1. West b xg is only 0.53 but the clearance of the line would have had a massive xgot.
