Their tier 1 season tickets in the newly refurbished stand have tripled in price. Gone from £1,300 to £3,900 for a season . £205 + a game .
I know it's expensive in that there London but that's obscene.

Yes. I know people who are ST holders there. They are many highly paid city types and this is a reflection of the demograph of the attendees at Stamford Bridge these days. None of these people were going back in the Div 2 days in the 80s when they were getting less than 20000 in some games.

It’s an insane price. I’ve heard all there usual nonsense on here about rugby being an elitist sport. However my season ticket, also in west London (ish) and to see the English champions, it’s cheaper for the whole season than a single match at Chelsea.

and you get European group games and cup games for that. Plus free tickets for the Ladies games (also English champions)
