Now that really is R I d I c u l o u s....Their tier 1 season tickets in the newly refurbished stand have tripled in price. Gone from £1,300 to £3,900 for a season . £205 + a game .
I know it's expensive in that there London but that's obscene.
Doesn't look like it. Thinks it's basically just their equivalent of our West Stand upper. Is it just simply a match ticket or is there some sort of corporate offering too?
What a load of rubbish. Is this faster served, higher quality food and drink included in the price or available at yet more over inflated prices?!You would be over the moon to get all these benefits at that price:
Writing to supporters to explain the astronomical price hike, Simon Hunter, head of venue and hospitality at the club, said: "As you will have seen, the concourse has been transformed to create a spacious area with lots of natural light."
"There are two new 360-degree bars with faster service and a new food hall serving an expanded range of high-quality food.
"In the seating bowl we’ve introduced three big screens to ensure all seat locations can view the screen content for the first time, and all seats have been replaced with new padded seating.
Padded seats and improved wi-fi, what's not to likeIs it just simply a match ticket or is there some sort of corporate offering too?
West ham's capacity recently expanded to 62,500( and they hope to go to67,000).they've got 20k to make up on Spurs and Arsenal now and how many does West Ham hold 55k+?
What you don't realise is when one starts to charge that amount another will soon follow suit. It will have a snowball effect.I actually think it's OK to do that, as long as it's just the Tier 1 offering. I guess it's promoted as something of a 'premium seat', with a new premium concourse. If they've got enough fans who are rich enough and stupid enough to pay it, or who crave the exclusivity, then good luck to them.
As long as real fans don't get priced out at the other end of the pricing - although do Chelsea actually have any real fans!?
I'd happily pay £100 extra a game for thatPadded seats and improved wi-fi, what's not to like
Doesn't work, people have been boycotting our walk up prices to no availSimple, don't pay, soon drop price then
