I've got Now 70's playing in the background on tv and on comes "Daydream Believer" - immediately took me back to happy times in The Chicago Rock club in the mid 1990's - whenever that track came on, everybody, lads and lasses, sang the Cheer Up Peter Reid version! Often made sweeter if Boro had won that day .
 
I had a load of buy one get free vouchers or half price vouchers for there. We used to go on a Thursday, happy hour and fill the table with Beers. Did that for 6/7 weeks until the manager come over and said, “lads, I don’t know where you got these vouchers from, but it’s gotta stop, this is the last time” 😂
Fun whilst it lasted!!
 
Used to DJ the arena Friday nights 2001/2. We used to go to jumpin jacks where it was about £6 in and all drinks free, hammer as many Smirnoff ice in 10 minutes as we could then gather up empties, trade for new and fill our coats with them and pile in a taxi, clinking as we went. Stocked for the night 😂

Used to love all the cheese clubs in boro like pop world / planet pop at empire, jumpin jacks, club 69 corner house, crown etc
