Chinese take aways

I fancied a Chinese yesterday but my regular place the Happiness Inn in Redcar had an answerphone message saying shut until further notice. I then went on Just Eat and Foodhub and all the Chinese take aways near Redcar are not taking orders but the Indian take aways are all open. Seems strange is it the same everywhere?

Redcarjock Chan's doing takeaways. Had one last night. Decent but not as good as the Happiness Inn but not many are. Order early as they say it maybe over an hour but ours came in 45 minutes last night.

I never thought of Chans long since I used them, will keep it in mind next week Cheers

Most have closed down because of people being idiots and blaming them for this virus. Even before the lockdown when I was at work a girl was saying her mate wouldn’t go into the Chinese with her to pick up her order. Unsurprisingly orders are down hence not worth staying open.

What fair said, idiots blamed China for the virus and thought that not eating Chinese food and abusing Chinese people would help save them.

What with Brexit, 5G conspiracies and that, I wonder. As a nation have we always been this dumb? Seems, with people like Trump in the white house, the Dumb have become enboldened.

Yep, all shut near me too and sadly for the reasons fair has mentioned: certain elements of the utterly stupid British public. It really makes you think can these people even manage to sit the right way round on a toilet?

A result of the policy neo-feudalism is reversion of enlightenment, started in the 70’s with Friedmanism being adopted as the primary economic policy in much of the West and the subsequent expansion of debt.

We had a Chinese last week and the shop.said they had shut down on Just Eat because they were very busy. Its worth ringing them up just to check if they are not appearing on JE.

Our local has family back in China. Hearing things from there, they closed before any Government warnings on social distancing.

have they opened at all during this 2nd lockdown ?
Ones near me have. We had chinese the other week.

It is a worry if some have closed because people think "Chinese virus". Education in this country needs improving

Don’t most Chinese takeaways close on a Monday anyway? It’s the quietest day of the week so most have it as a day off...

or at least the few I have used in The past did so
