Civil Servants to go on strike from mid-December

Just have a general strike, it would make more sense - alternatively just get a raging mob to storm Westminster, drag them all out and have a French revolution style moment

I don’t think there is any prospect of the government giving in & increasing the pay offers.

I work for the government we were offered 2% which they have ultimately imposed upon us. I and the majority of my union who actually voted, voted to reject the deal but not enough people could be actually bothered to vote for the union to organise a strike.

I will have to watch from the sidelines as others take action.

Will the government impose 2% again next April? I think they will. It really is time for a general election now. I just want rid off them.

The uber rich are the problem, they have trillions stashed away in offshore accounts away from the tax man. In fact if all the tax loop holes were closed there would be enough money in the world for everyone to have a roof over their head and food in their belly, but that would mean the rich no longer having the power. Without poor people the current system of rich ruling over poor collapses like a pack of cards

How's this for an example of the BBC pushing (attempting at least) the corporate line, There are very few journalists left who actually research and dig; they are just presenters, bought and paid for.

That’s an uncomfortable watch for anyone associated with that newsreader/journalist, the BBC isn’t impartial whatsoever.
