Clips of key incidents today

I saw the game on Sky RB with no replays.

Has anyone got a clip of the sending off?

And the push on the back of Jones in the second half.

Cheers (y)

Seen replays of both, although Dijksteel was caught wrong side of Hugill, he was pulled down by his arm around his waist. Lenihen was across covering too. It wasn't a sending off, but Dijksteel was partly at fault I think.

Jones incident not a pen, went down too easily with little contact.

Jones initiated what little contact there was when he dived

Hugill threw himself into Djiksteel who was blocking his run (a foul, for the obstruction and a yellow card, no more)

Not a red card in any way.

Though I did think we were lucky that Hackney only got a yellow from my view.

I didn't see the game today either cos of work. What about the Akpom penalty shout in the first half? Was it a pen?
Yes, I'd like to see that again, because that looked like he was clipped as he was going through, think it might have been just outside the box and should have been red for me.

I think the Akpom and Dijksteel ones were the same except the Rotherham player was behind akpom when he clipped him.

Both free kicks - both borderline booking/reds. The Akpom one looked on the line as well to me.

Anyone else think we should have had a soft penalty at the end when the keeper just dove into Akpoms legs to waste time. Akpom was 2 yards away from him. Keeper does that thing where people dive to the floor to waste time takes out Akpom - could have hurt akpom. Contact entirely initiated by the keeper. Ref gave a drop ball.

Is it still the case that if a penalty had been given Dijksteel would have just received a yellow and not a red? The 'triple punishment' law.
In hindsight that would have been the better outcome.

I was thinking it would have really summed up our day if that knacked Akpoms knee and he missed the playoffs. More damage to the dopey keepers’ head luckily.

yup, saw that, could have been yes.

We've had no luck with ref decision. We should have had a pen against Luton last week for extreme shirt pulling, but nothing given, then a dive with minimal contact after the dive started and we get a pen against. Luck has to change soon.

Looking at the replay of the sending off - it was extremely harsh considering Lenihan was partly behind him and it was more obstruction.

The Rotherham manager said they were lucky with the red card.

We are saving up all our favourable ref decisions for the play offs. I can feel it in me waters…..along with a burning sensation.

looks like Dijk tried to tackle , missed and did lift his foot to impead Hugill. Never a sending off but can see a foul. Was he last man? No we had a covering defender moving in front of goal
