Cole Palmer or Phil Foden?

That team should win a World Cup, never mind the Euros. Southgate will probably pick Rashford and Henderson though.
Apart from when someone decides to counter attack.

We can criticise Southgate's loyalty to certain players - but Mbappé and Griezmann would be kicking their chops with the space they'd get. And Pedri and Rodri would pass Rice to death.

Supposedly Gareth was thinking of not taking Cole Palmer to the Euros since we already have too much 'talent' ahead of him in his position, Sir Gareth needs to have a serious rethink. Palmer could very much be the difference between winning and losing the Euros, he has to go at least as an impact player from the bench and to step up if there's a penalty shoot out.

Amazing season by Palmer and it's refreshing to see someone leave City and flourish.

Shame it's at that scummy club, but take nothing away from Palmer, he's been incredible.

I still think the RW spot for England should be Saka's. Although Palmer's numbers have been great, Saka is still a level above.

It is brilliant to see we have so many options who are capable of filling in, if there's injuries/suspensions/lack of form etc.

We are we not allowed to have top class players on the bench.

Sick of seeing these XI's all over the internet saying this will win the euros but Southgate will stop it. No, these teams will only work on Fifa, we would get overrun in midfield if you somehow force Foden, Bellingham, Palmer and Saka into a starting 11 behind Kane.

Exactly.

I'm a Southgate apologist. But even I see that he isn't a top level manager (v few are at international level any more). His major flaw (among a few) is not being able to change a game from the bench. Having that level of quality to draw upon may mitigate against that.
