Foden is a better player but sacrifices parts of his game for the benefit of the team and Guardiola’s system. Palmer is playing a much more attacking role for Chelsea in a different system. He doesn’t have the same restrictions on his game. It’s not right to only look at goals and assists. If you compare their defensive stats, Foden is far superior.

Can't compare Foden and Palmers goal record or games as Fodens been playing in the Premier League since he was 6. Right now, I'd take Palmer over Foden, more ruthless, more end product, cool as a cucumber.

Palmer has only scored from the penalty spot for Chelsea this season.

Foden has 5 goals from open play.

Definitely Foden for me.
