After embarrassing them 0-4 in their own stadium it would really make my season to send the club that will always live in the shadow of the Geordies home on Sunday with their tail between their legs. Their high and mighty attitude of the size of their crowd - pulling from a massive catchment and giving away thousands of tickets for free, their delusional entitlement to be ‘a big club’ who have won nothing in 51 years, their red face insistence that playing a club 30 miles away can never be called a derby just fuels my dislike of this shockingly poor ugly embarrassing side. Do the world a favour on Sunday Boro and shut these mouthy second raters up for another season. UTFB.

I've been asked why I consider Sunderland such a laughing stock this week, which got me thinking. Our vastly superior record in my lifetime is a start, but other things that spring to mind:
their joke promotion when Swindon were found guilty of financial irregularities, and the inevitable relegation the next season.
Bernie Slaven's comedy goal after, what, 17 seconds as AP.
Breaking their own record as the worst ever PL team.
The prolonged spell in the 3rd tier.
Celebrating the pizza cup.

I just can't take them seriously.
 
I have a feeling they are going to come flying out of the block at us, they really felt aggrieved about the game at their place and will definitely feel they they have a point to prove!

We have to weather it and not concede anything soft, it's really important that we are in their faces because you can be sure they will be in ours from kick off!

I agree it was a shocking decision not to send Ballard off
