I’d class him more as a forward than a striker.

Puts the effort in but lacks the goals.

I thought he had a decent game v Millwall, he gives his all, gets bullied, moans but never gives up

Hopefully the recruitment folks behind the scenes are learning fast.
We've tried a number of options over the last 24 months or so:
- Big named striker (none many bigger/longer than Assombolonga). failed.
- Big name strikers (Brewster/McBurnie)- also failed for Wilder at Sheff Utd
- On loan foreign striker - Sporar - meh
- On loan forward who made a half-decent striker. Hernandez - tick
- On loan unproven strikers - Balogoun and Connolly - meh

More a case of learning what NOT to do again but at least we are trying things.
We hopefully must be getting a handle on what might work/ doesn't work and the monies involved.
