My partner and her dad are both toffees, apparently Bielsa has rejected them so are turning there attention to Corberan. Be good for Boro and Everton if this goes ahead.

we've seen it before, they lose a bit of edge when they sign pre-contracts, or when they know they are leaving at the end of the season

I'm not sure this will happen - He would be leaving one basket case club for another. Everton needs to have a clear out of playing staff to get rid of all the bad apples. There are certainly a few not trying and others that are getting flack from the fans and got caught up in the demonstrations. I'm not sure if I would want to play for a club after that.

I honestly can't see him (Wilder) getting a job above L1 or relegation spots in the Championship.
Too many pundits have questioned why he couldn't get a tune out of our players and Carrick's doing so well.

Bielsa is odds on now.
That would be a decent signing for Everton. He would definitely excite the crowd with his 100mph football.
Not sure if he has the calibre of players? but that group of players shouldn't be in the bottom 3 to be fair.

I feel like the allure of the eveton job for Corberan is he only needs to win 6 games and get a couple draws to have done a fantastic job. Whereas he could lead West Brom on a great run and finish a couple point behind sheff utd and get beat in the play offs. We know from last season how tactically astute he is and he can do a number on anyone. Also, think that while he plays posesion based football his teams score a lot of set pieces and love to get balls into the box, so could be ideal for getting the best from calvert lewin.

There's absolutely no comparison between Everton and West Brom, Everton are a giant in comparison.
Corboran needs to have the best run of games that probably anyone has ever had in this division to get promoted and even then they'll be cannon fodder in the Premier league and not in any better position than Everton are now.
In comparison you could go to Everton finish 4th bottom and look to push on. They've got far more money than West Brom, better players, a bigger fanbase and are due to move to a new stadium. Yes, Everton are in a mess but get it right there and you could be playing in front of 50k every week in a new stadium and pushing for Europe and cups. You're never gonna take WBA to that level.
