I’d be interested to see this.

Off the ball would allow us to “fill in the gaps” / cut off more passing lines.

Using the midfield we have now. Howson between two centre back. Crooks between Centreback and right back. Barlaser same with centre back and left back.

Still allows Crooks to maintain his partnership with Jones and Dijksteel.

Would slightly free up the defensive duties off the wingers allowing them to focus more on attacking when needed.

if / when we can add Hackney and O’Brien to that! Bloody b’jesus!

Potentially. It would make us less open. However a lot of our issues are individual errors, set pieces and concentration. Not sure a formation change makes a significant difference to that.

Of course not having a settled back line doesn't help with those things either.

4231… 433 etc… You’re talking about moving players 5-10 yards when we’re out of possession. The difference is minimal I think.

Like festa says above the issues are mostly individual errors and, of course, the massive injury list
