Could Ipswich win the championship

They keep surprising everyone Ipswich. Story of the season. We all expected them to fall away from the automatic places by now but they are still there holding there own. Whose to say that won't be the case come the end of the season. You look at their squad and wonder how they keep doing it, but they always seem to perform.

Some did. The experts on here were saying that they were starting to get 'found out' when they had a couple of bad (ie not winning) results in late autumn. They'd finish mid-table at best.

That said, they are the scummiest team I've seen at the Riverside this season.

I can't say I have watched much of them other than against us when they were not particularly impressive (the game at Portman Road should be interesting if we have anything to play for) but in any case they have a very good chance of an auto spot which would mean that at least one of Lester, Southampton or the Dirties will be joining us in Div 2 next season.

Leeds are going to win it with Ipswich 2nd I think. Play offs are anyone's guess. Leicester are going to get points deductions next season no matter what league they are in so their squad is going to be much much weaker than this season. Next season should be an other really exciting one in the championship.

Could have had 14/1 for that to happen not long ago

No - i must admit i thought they’d fall away second half of the season but the bought well in the window and have a great chance of going up, probably via the playoffs

Hope not.

Much rather Leicester, Leeds & Saints go up, so the league is much much weaker (back to where it roughly was in 2022/23), so we have a slightly better chance of pinching a place in the top 6.

The 3 coming down aren't anywhere near as good and powerful as the 3 that came down last season.
Exactly this!

I'm not sure how accurate this is but in fairness it shows how well Ipswich have done to be up there alongside Leicester, Southampton and Leeds.

They've gone top after a dreadful attempt at a save from Aynsley Pears, Connor Chaplin makes it 1-0.

Ipswich have really been very consistent all through the season and basically schooled us when we played them. I’d say Leeds and Ipswich will go up.

I would love Ipswich to go up Leicester to miss out bottle the playoffs and then face the consequences of flouting the rules. If Leicester dont go up this season financially they are in deep ****

He made a huge mistake to let the shot happen in the first place, but what a bloody save that was!

Starting to look like one of Leeds Leicester or Southampton could miss out on promotion now, which is going to be quite damaging for who ever it is. Back to back promotions would be quite some achievement if Ipswich can do it

they will all have to sell in the summer if they dont go up. Expect a fire sale at Leicester if they dont get promoted

Leicester are in deep schitt.
If they end up missing out on automatic or via the play-offs and remain in the Champo, it could be catastrophic.
Tuff innit !?
