Counterfest last night in Stockton.

Anyone go last night. Happy to stay in the Story Tellers to see Paul Weller, The Clash and UB40 tributes. Plenty of variety around the town in other venues.

Went to One Vision of Queen last night. Absolutely sensational performance from the lead singer Marc Martel. It was like Freddie was in the stadium.
Would recommend.

Got yerself about last night then. How was the crowds as we only stayed in one place.

Blur and especially Radiohead (just wow!) in the Social Room were brilliant.
Also watched a bit of Elvis in arc and Weller in Storytellers.
Stockton punches light years above its weight for live music venues.

Agree on that last bit, you're really lucky on that score - wish we had a few more in the boro.

Prefer to go out in Stockton than the Boro, some decent little bars. Bedford and Baker street are becoming overpriced and overrated.

Was a good night in Stockton on Saturday, I got to see:
Blink 182 - Green Room
Paul Weller - Story Tellers
Pulp - Social Room
Elton John - Arc
Radiohead - Social Room

Radiohead were superb and the Social Room is a fantastic venue.

How easy was it to move around between venues? Didn't go because last time we tried to move round to see bands we wanted to see the venues were "at capacity".

No problems that I came across, was all pretty smooth.
