Coventry Tickets

I'll be interested to see what the atmosphere is like.

Likely to be a dead rubber for us.
Could well be a vital game for Coventry.

I don't see it as a dead rubber. It could be we are still vying to try and secure 3rd or 4th for the playoffs. It could also allow us to try different formations given the sudden increase in injuries in anticipation of the playoff matches.

It could also be Coventry going all out for a win to try and secure a win to get in the playoffs. It will highlight areas for improvement to the management team when the pressure is on.

On the ticket sales, it certainly looks like a sellout.

Maybe I'm being cynical, but probably quite a few coming for the first time in ages in order to have a buying history for any possible Wembley appearance. The more the merrier.

Even when all tickets are sold there will be at least 2000 empty seats.

Did you not see the Hull fans run past the line of stewards on Wed night like they weren't there to goad the boro fans in the south stand who didn't like that.

We've always had needle with Hull especially a pre season friendly at their place in 2002

Approx 31,042 sold with 504 remaining.

For games were the demand is high, the club should consider selling the seats with restricted views at a discounted cost.

The home leg of the play off semi would be an ideal opportunity to try this.

This will be the largest crowd of the season at the Riverside. I agree about 500 tickets left and 17 days to go.

It would be useful to have a purchase history for play off matches, but we usually have a bigger than average crowd for the last game of the season, particularly for season's where we had done quite well.

I saw about 3 kids, all about 6 stone soaking wet, run towards the south.
One steward single handedly pushed them back onto position ( good effort from him, I thought).

It was typical wanna be football hooligan behaviour. They ran passed the line of stewards and when they realised no one was going to stop them approaching the boro fans they stopped and went back.

So, do we take a dive to keep Sunderland out of the playoffs? 🤔

They love Coventry already, and it would have a certain comedy value.

Can't think we'd do this really; too much chance of it backfiring and the joke being on us.

If we rested a few, Cov might beat us fair and square I suppose

As it stands, we're playing Coventry 3 times in a row.

I'd not risk anything.

Coventry fans have earned themselves a reputation as being a lot more noisy on the road, than we all remember from years back, that's what being homeless does for you, makes you appreciate your club a lot more, if the game is competitive it will be the best atmosphere of the season.

But unfortunately they have also gained a very active hooli element and I have seen a couple of times from photos this season where they went through stewards and didn't turn back, which recently led to full on scuffles at Swansea recently, I would keep the barrier for this match.
