Judging ronaldo and messi is hardly rocket science is it? Both are in the best footballers ever category. I love being proved wrong when boro players come good though.

@Diego takes it to new levels though,

McNair has no heart.
Barlaser and Kieron Scott are frauds.
Chris wilder is the best footballer manager in the championship bar none.

We all get it wrong at times don’t we?

Has Barlaser proved me wrong yet? No. He done well last couple of games. I hope that continues.

McNair I admit that I was hasty with and it’s now good to see him performing so well.

I’m glad to see you follow me around this board so much. Is that what your into? Do you get a kick from it. Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Only 1 poster who was adamant that dael fry fouled Ross Stewart outside the box, even when presented with evidence stating otherwise.

I clearly remember that. I was sat in line with it, Schwarzer went to try to get the ball, realised he couldn’t so moved his hands out of the way, absolutely no contact at all but Ronaldo hit the deck and a penalty was given. Any respect and admiration I had for Ronaldo was gone as was any respect I had for Alex Ferguson who, in an interview after the match, said Schwarzer intended to commit a foul and, despite there being no contact, it was right decision. It was all complete bull****. Schwarzer did everything he could to avoid any contact with Ronaldo. In my opinion it was one of the worst examples of cheating I’ve seen in football, and I’ve seen plenty.
 
I actually never used to worry too much when I saw Ronaldo's name on the team sheet, as never thought he did much against us. Giggs was a different matter - always seemed to cause us problems. That being said, it's hard not to admire the way Ronaldo took his career to another level by being utterly single minded - how many flair players work on their heading to the extent he did for example?
And I did quite like his 'drink water' response to seeing bottles of coke on the press conference table (was that the World Cup or Euros?)
