Crowd for Ipswich?

Between 27k and 27.5k.

Tend to be more hardcore fans attend this time of the year which creates slightly better atmosphere. with 2,300 Ipswich that will add to the atmosphere aswell.

I am looking forward to a right old battle.
Yeah mainly local fans rather than southern based at this time of year. Utb

28,000 would be an excellent gate, with it being just two weeks before Christmas. Does anyone know if the Club are selling half-season tickets this year?

Not sure there is any reason to do offers when the crowds are as high as they are, we are only mid table in the Championship and anything below 25k is now seen as a bit disappointing. Demand is sky high, if we go up there will be a serious problem with lack of capacity.

A nice problem to have. The club won't be rushing to add another section to the east stand, if ever...

Games close to Christmas are traditionally lower than usual for us - i would think the ground is going to look a bit sparse for the Hull game

Crowds are very good at the moment but it would be a nice gesture to do one offer a season, particularly for when we have back to back home games.

We'd be looking at 30k crowds for the Ipswich and Hull games if there was a bogof offer. Even if it's only a few extra thousand added onto the gates, it's a bit of extra revenue for the club.

2 offers come to mind 2006/07 Charlton at home kids for a quid just before xmas the attendance for this game backs that up ... 32,013 the previous home game getting in just over 23.5k against Wigan

The other 1 i remember was a double header with the club heading for relegation a 2 for £20 offer covering home games against Hull and Fulham crowds jumped from just over 24k to 2x 30k attendances

We must have really been struggling on walkups at that time having to do ticket deals whilst still in the Premier League

I don't remember crowds being that low in the prem, shows how the memory plays tricks.

Also shows go a fanbase can get very blasé and not realise when they are on to a good thing. Bit like Brighton and wolves nowadays.

No doubt, but I expect it'll be 24,000 minimum in the official figures.

We've got a very good season ticket base this season.
