Current market value for Spence, Tav and Fry?

Out of interest if we did some business in January what fees do you think the above would command?

I might buy one of them myself. Just to keep the dog company when I'm busy with other stuff. I've got a few quid stashed away. It might be nice to own a footballer. Not sure which one to go for though. I'll probably just take them all on trial and see which one the dog likes best.
 
I don't think it's a good idea us discussing our opinions of the market value of three of our best players on the Boro fans' most popular(??) open forum.

Especially whilst the window has just opened.

McNair is an absolute class act for me. Someone who reads the game extremely well and is often positioned one pass ahead of the opposition, but I doubt he’d fetch more than Fry, due to the premium paid on young(ish) English centrebacks.
We are lucky to have them both though.
 
I know these days everybody has their price - sadly Football is a business - i hope our ambitions are such that we retain all three by the end of the month. Like to see Spence back here at some point. I’m rather disappointed he is going to be helping Forest’s quest for a playoff place.

Me neither

Why is it that some boro fans only see players as either too good for us sell them or not good enough sell them.

how about we keep our best players and see what happens eh.

I don’t think anyone has stated our best players should be sold Zorro. The question was merely a hypothetical question of If. I would not put Spence in the bracket of one of our most valuable assets anyway, especially given he has no current wish to be a Boro player, that, or Boro feel he would not be an asset being brought back to the fold.

Personally, I doubt he will ever want to pull on the Boro shirt again, I still recall his apparent antics at Fulham and comments of subsequent Boro managers. No matter how good a player is, the effect they can have on a team can be negative, some of us know that from working with colleagues in our own workplaces, football will be no different, everyone is replaceable.
 
I just hope Fry is still here after the window. Keeping Fry, McNair and Jones is critical to us pushing for the play offs. I think we could get between £3m and £5m for Spence if he plays ok for the rest of the season. I think anywhere near £5m for Tav is amazing business. I would sell both in January to fund another 3 quality signings.
 
I think Fry is our most valuable asset by a long way.

I thought when he burst onto the scene coulson as going to be a superstar. Not sure how he is doing at Ipswich?
