David Moyes

Predictable tale of WHU still having visions of grandeur …. Cue 18 months of desperation and flirting with relegation 👀

Julen Lopetegui is favourite and is supposedly close to signing, he didn't do very well at wolves but has been good at previous jobs. But still a risky one in my opinion.
I wouldn't of be surprised though if Graham Potter and Jose Mourinho where high on the shortlist .
McKenna or Carrick would of been good choices(for them, not for us with regards to Carrick) but I don't think either are quite proven enough yet to be getting head hunted by Premier clubs with probable European qualification ambitions. Well apart from Carrick's obvious West Ham connection and reputation as a former player.

West Ham are an absolutely rancid club. The 'west ham way' and winning the world cup and all that rubbish. Also being gifted a stadium paid for by the taxpayer.

Lopetuegi is a woeful manager, they would be far better sticking with Moyes.

I imagine they will be looking for another manager before Christmas.

I think the Carrick link would just be down to him being an old boy there.
Someone like Mark Robins has achieved more as a manager, but won't even be mentioned.
We get a lot of "jobs for the boys" type comments when former players are linked with our manger's job, and I imagine a lot of West Ham fans would view MC in the same way.

It's funny on football social media pages how whenever there is a post expressing surprise at the low regard for Moyes at WHU, their fans hop on to say how nobody knows how bad it is to watch.

Do they think everyone watches Man City style football? Do they have a collective false memory of the time they made Barcelona look like a Pulis team?

Sounds like our lot in the SMac days
