Besiktas Head Coach Senol Gunes has banished Dele Alli from the first-team and does not plan to include him in any match-day squads for the rest of the season.

He’s been told he will watch from the stands until he returns to Everton.

Would you have him at boro? Sounds like he’s done at Everton. Feels a bit like crap management and depression.

The Double 10 with Akpom in a premier league Xmas tree?

Is Jose a big motivator? I get the impression he handles high end top talent.. he adds more top end talent and plays a fairly strict system in a do whatever it takes type fashion.

He has always has a victim that’s true

But then why didn’t lampard an English legend in his position not motivate him
 
Good point but he’s an international footballer he’s a prem league star ( deli I mean)so surely personal pride has to kick in somewhere.

Esp as he started at no done so he knows what it’s like at the lower reaches he knows the fight it takes to make it and that’s what staggers me how he’s let it all go.

Given his career progression He should have been a certainty for Qatar but he was no where near.

I’d say he’s been the biggest fall from Grace England has ever had.
 
Strange fall from grace isn’t it? Obviously lots going on in the background, non of which is any of our business I guess. Sad to see though, he could have been the difference at the last World Cup
Had he maintained his level.

I get that but he gave him a second chance at big prem club ( in name anyway) so personal pride should have kicked in.

Look at Chuba he was in deli Ali position last year unwanted by his club playing in a backwater league and looking like he was destined for the lower leagues or another move abroad.

But and here’s the difference he was given a chance and he snatched it with both hands and he fought back to show his worth.
 
It's impossible to say whether he's a busted flush from the outside looking in.

Those inside the game will obviously know the details and consequently be in a far better position to judge whether he can be helped back to his best, or even close to it.

It seems its a motivational issue and if so he wouldn't be the first.

He seems very much like a Middlesbrough signing on par with high pedigree like Mendieta, Merson.. but with the 'what went wrong' of Diego Fabbrini & Ravel Morrison.. could be the new Lee Tomlin!
 
Id rather have Ali G.
There's something missing, he has totally lost his way, and a few managers have now tried and failed with him.
Would touch him with a barge pole.
 
Ravel morrison mk2 just with a better CV, just.

Wouldn't want him anywhere near, lots of managers have tried and thought they can get him back to his best, hasn't happened, he has obviously lost his head and love for the game. Wouldn't surprise me if he sacked it off altogether
