Derby Board

Saw this on their board - don't they realise that we have cut all our big earners, spent almost nothing (maybe Payero?), and posted a profit in the year before covid WITH the previously mentioned big earners?

The only issue I can see is the £35m loss due to covid, but that will affect everyone. I wonder how the EFL will handle that?
oh and it's laughable they see us as a tier below them and not having the same revenue. In the current FFP window we will have one year of parachute payments and the sales of Traore, Bamford and Gibson.

A tier above???
They have had ONE cup semi since world war 2, how many have we had in 3o years? 7 I think.
Havent won anything since black and white tv was common
Historically have smaller crowds
Have had more seasons outside the top 2 than us
Have had less seasons at the top table than us since first world war
Have smaller transfer records than us
and lets not forget the worst two prem seasons of all time
1 top flight season in 19 years, 11 in 42
Oh and head-to-head Boro 65 wins, Derby 51 wins, 35 draws.

They're utterly deluded to think they are a tier above, what on earth are they basing that on winning the league when your grandad was a kid? They're a tier below if anything based on attendances, success in my life, on field performances against each other and other clubs fans views of us

I hope those absolute mugs on their board see this, deluded doesn't come close.

Frankly, we’ve given those idiots far too much attention. We can move on knowing we are a better club - on and off the pitch. No more needs to be said. Let them wallow in their self pity and play continuously the victim card. They are either too thick or don’t wish to admit their woes are firmly at the hands of magnificent Mel.

In their defence I don't know any real-life Derby fans who go on like they do on their board and Twitter, perhaps the odd one or two but very much in the minority. The 'real' ones are like Blondie_DCFC who post on here who just love their club like we do ours. I have to say that coz she knows where I live :D

Seriously though, we can forget them and their silly internet trolls and concentrate on more Wilderball :)

In sporting terms, the near liquidation of their club represents something of a high point in their history
