The first save with his feet was outrageous awful defending. From there more great saves, great on crosses, great passing... just needed a goal to top off a great performance.
Didn't get bullied either after them jumping into him everytime

Looks solid and quite remarkable that Steffen was so valuable to us last season like our other loanees, but none of us are pining for him.
Not even 30 yet so here's hoping for a few seasons of consistency in goal, like we haven't had since... Dimi?

Not sure what happened at QPR, as their fans seemed glad to get rid of him in the end.
Been absolutely outstanding for us, though. Think he’s already made more crucial saves for us than Steffan did all of last season (although that probably says more about some of our defending in general)

Said it in another thread this week that he is the best since Schwarzer.
We’ve had a couple of decent keepers in the past 15 years (Given, Randolph, Steffen, Valdes) but the start from Dieng had me so far thinking he is better than all of them*.

Can’t be argued that Valdes was a highly successful and decorated player in one of the best football teams of all time, but when he came to us (via Man Utd?) I remember being very underwhelmed by his performances. He was fine, better than Guzan, but
