Digital season card passes at the riverside stadium

I don’t get to the ground 45 mins early why would I

Btw where were the stewards yesterday as they were no where to be seen at the north stand I think I saw 2 in total one in the car park no where near the crowd the other stood alone seemingly controlling all 6 entrances.

Utter joke
One Steward who is near turnstile 7-9 south west upper is five foot small, proudly showing odd a plaque for which I assume is to him for getting paid to vape and not moving from the stewards entrance whilst a queue of 1000 plus angrily can’t get into the stadium.

Only for reports of the ‘gates being opened’ without tickets checked. Smacks of the euro final and the leppigs lane gate being opened at hillsborough.

b***ks being dropped left right and centre by the club.

Also word around the campfire is the legends lounge is now a self service school dinner hall buffet.

Which nugget at the club is in charge of fan engagement?

Cleveland Police and Middlesbrough Council need to
Investigate with some haste at what happened yesterday.

My season card ‘e ticket’ has now disappeared from my phones wallet with the Millwall ticket now showing only on the ‘expired’ section. Does the e-ticket only appear game by game and when will the next one for Huddersfield home appear or do I have to download it each game?

My mate rang the ticket office to try go back onto a card, was apparently told he couldn’t and those with cards would only be given leeway for so long and they’d have to go digital.

Doing what they said they wouldn’t, forcing people onto digital ticketing.

In that case I won't be renewing, only hope they give me until the end of the season. I don't have a mobile and won't be getting one for a digital ticket. The machine at the turnstile takes both digital and season card so why make it compulsory?.

I can’t see that I reckon we’ve got a few weeks tops if that before we are all pushed on the same

There will be a lot us (3,000?) who want to keep the physical card at least for this season and really for several seasons. The Club would be extremely foolish to make a fully digital card compulsory. The physical cards worked perfectly as far as I know on Saturday both on the turnstile and at the drinks kiosks. In fact didn't the digital card users have to use a physical card to get a concessionary drink?

We are told there are no plans to make the digital card compulsory.

My card worked fine on Saturday. There was a bit of a queue when I arrived at 245ish but only took about 5 mins to clear, it was the sort of queue we get when its nearly a full house - which of course was the case.
I don't understand where the club are going with this digital plan - if its not broke why fix it? I'll be filling the form in to keep my card.
I doubt I'm the only who thinks technology is advancing too much nowadays? I'm perfectly happy with the phone I've got, like to have the option to use cash - especially on a day out at football or a night out, but have the card as an option etc.

What do can’t afford a phone or if you are blind. I can see a lot of litigation against mfc.

I work with someone who suffers from tremors. It's a bit of a hidden disability as most people she works with don't even notice. The big giveaway is that she uses a chunky phone: touchscreens are impossible for her, because she has to steady her finger on a physical button. She's fine with QR code tickets as she just prints them off, but an NFC ticket won't work with that kind of phone.

She's not a Boro fan, but I told her about this and asked what she thought. Most of her reply isn't repeatable, but "suing the f*** out of them" did come up.

It’s a huge own goal and a PR nightmare.

The one thing I’m not sure has been mentioned yet was there said to be an issue in sat with some android phones as let’s face it not all phones are equal so expect that added surprise if snd when it does roll out.

People need to go mental if it is enforced on us.

What if you refuse to adopt the technology mid season what are club going to just open the gates again.

Legends lounge members mad at it is now a self service Toby Cavery Buffet at several thousand pounds a season, personal assistant losing free drinks, just waiting to be charged to use the toilets at try stadium.

When is the next supporters forum and meeting?

Horrific penny pinching and winding the core support up.

I think Rob is going to have a very large list of items to raise 🫣

When we went in on Saturday at East Stand tunstile(52 ??? maybe can't remember) there was one steward between two turnstiles. A man and his daughter could not get in so while she tried to sort that people on the other turnstile where having similar problems. Just held both sides up.
