Digital Season Ticket Advice at Boro

This Saturday, digital ticketing is in use for the same groups as the season opener, with no further rollout so far There's no need to re-download your digital Season Card, you can use it again in exactly the same way.

Ahead of Saturday's match against Huddersfield Town at the Riverside, here is an update on digital ticketing.

For the first match of the season against Millwall, digital ticketing was introduced for three categories; NEW SEASON CARD HOLDERS for 2023/24, as well as those who MOVED SEAT or CHANGED PRICE TYPE. For Saturday's match against Huddersfield, digital ticketing is available for the SAME CATEGORIES, with no further rollout at this stage.

If you're in one of these categories and downloaded and used your digital Season Card for the Millwall match, you can use it again in exactly the same way on Saturday. There is NO NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD - the existing digital Season Card in the 'Wallet' of your smartphone or other device remains valid for entry. This remains the case, even if the digital Season Card still displays the previous Millwall match, or has moved to the 'Expired Passes' section of your Wallet, in which case you can select it and choose 'Unhide'.

Your digital Season Card may display a different, incorrect fixture from time to time during the week while we undergo testing. This is normal, and will correct itself ahead of matchday.

If you're in one of these categories but didn't come to the Millwall match, we would urge you to get your digital Season Card set up now. Visit our help section here, which has all the info you need.

If you are a Season Card holder and are NOT in one of these three categories, the digital ticketing plans do not yet apply to you, and on Saturday you should use your existing physical Season Card as normal. As shown in the graphic below, please TAP YOUR SEASON CARD to the reader for entry. Only printed match tickets should go in the mouth of the reader.

As ever, we urge supporters to arrive at the Riverside in plenty of time to gain easy access and avoid congestion at the turnstiles.

I find it incredulous at times. I have had my Huddersfield ticket in my wallet for the best part of two weeks, when today they replaced it with a test ticket (vs Southampton).
I wish they would stop messing about with the system.

It will return again - it is because they are testing the system for the free drinks.
But the club are also adamant that having A ticket in your wallet whether Millwall, Huddersfield or Southampton means it is valid as a season ticket for tomorrow's game.

My mate is struggling to forward his ticket. Only lets him get this far with no option to forward on his ticket to anybody in his friends and family.

Funnily enough, worked fine when it wanted to charge £9 e3d9793c-f8d0-4575-882b-01e4ba9106a2.jpeg

But it isn't a truly live environment, surely. Not until tomorrow.
The purpose of this thread though is to reassure and help people through the turnstiles tomorrow.
Sorry, but that is my definition of a live environment, as users are directly affected by the testing before a stable version is released.

Thanks Rob, it’s just so frustrating at times.
They need to liaise with Apple and Android and ask why our tickets go into the expired part of the wallet. It’s not a big deal to me, but it’s clearly upsetting other ST holders.
I ended up having to re-download my Huddersfield ticket. I know the club have stated that they are adamant that any ticket will gain entry tomorrow, but the confidence factor in that statement is fairly low.
Btw, I’m not shooting the messenger 😂

I was told there are other differences between android and iphones in the ability to hold more than one person's ticket in your wallet. It works with iphones but with androids there have been problems.

I would ring the ticket office.
Yeah I was going to suggest that but unfortunately he’s about to fly to Portugal so probably going to be a bit too late now.

We’ve only just got a late taker for the ticket but it’ll just have to be an empty seat instead.

I'm trying to forward my ticket to someone but it's bloody hopeless. Log-in, go to tickets, select ticket and click forward. A new window opens where you need to select forward ticket again.

Nothing happens after that. It doesn't matter if I use PC, mobile phone or a tablet. Nothing happens at all.

Exactly the same as my mate. I assume they’ve just locked it down - probably because they haven’t fixed the issue around charging people for forwarding!

I’m going to ring the ticket office in the morning to try and sort it out. Presume they’ll need to get print a ticket for collection

@Nero I rang the ticket office. Gave my mates details and explained the situation. They just printed a ticket for collection.
