Disabled Parking Permit

Has anyone any experience of applying for one?
Mother in Law is 89 and (as mentioned previously) has early stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia in addition to using a wheelchair.
Mrs Hap does all of her driving for her. Can she apply for a permit for her car to use when driving her mother? I’m surprised her social worker hasn’t mentioned it at all.

Yes she can apply, your MIL doesn't need to have a vehicle herself to apply for a permit.

A blue badge can be used with any vehicle the holder is in.

A blue badge can be used with any vehicle the holder is in.

And the badge is displayed.

We have my dad’s near his back door so whoever is taking him out can pick it up when leaving.
