I have never listened to a single podcast, the idea of it has just never interested me. Am I missing out?

Each to their own, isn't it. I got into audiobooks first, when I used to travel long distances in the car, you quickly realise how repetitive or actually quite boring the guy on the radio is. After that I got into podcasts... I'm at the point now where I have at least one or two audiobooks / podcasts on the go at any one time.

I listen to both podcasts and audiobooks as spend bit of time in the car.

West Cork and the Teachers pet both good real life crime podcasts.

West Cork my favourite and it resulted in a far inferior ( in my opinion) Netflix show about the murder of a French socialite in rural Ireland.

The Teachers Pet shows the power of them it became a world wide hit and has largely resulted in a missing person case becoming a murder trial in Australia.

The trial is ongoing now as we speak.

There is a new podcast called the teachers trial which is a synopsis of the trial every week.

Some amazing lecture series out there put out by the great universities on loads of diverse subjects.

Love listening to podcasts.

I've tried a couple of times with the Second Tier pod, but just don't rate the lads that do it

St Elwick's Neighborhood Association pod is probably one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Catching up with "the rest is history" currently, it's a bit "Tory-lite" but they certainly know their stuff.

One of the best podcasts I've ever listened to is called 'hunting warhead'.

Einar Stangvik is a white-hat hacker — an internet security expert with an expertise in cracking the most secure and disturbing parts of the web. He discovers a troubling phenomenon online and joins forces with journalist Håkon Høydal. It leads them to Australia, to confront two men who are running the largest child abuse site on the dark net.

I also enjoy listening to the podcast 'darknet diaries' which is a collection of stories related to a variety of online discussions, the dark Web, malware, xbox 360 hacking and so on. Some of the stories are fascinating.

A good one to start out with is the story of how the original xbox 360 was modified to allow the use of pirated games. Its called darknet diaries xbox underground.

I listen to a few podcasts. They are usually ones about cars or true crime. Oh and of course The Boro Breakdown.

I used to listen to the Second Tier podcast as pretty decent in terms of a dedicated chat about the champo. Yet stopped when they hammered Gibson about 'destroying Derby'. Then pretty much had nothing positive to say about Boro as Derby fans.

I mean they said we were the only thing holding up the takeover in February. I'm yet to see a follow up saying they were wrong 😉. I'm sure they will get by losing me as a subscriber lol.

BS.....Bernie Slaven......15 mins long of which about 10 of it is 'nothing' ....praising sponsors etc.
The longer ones with interviews are pretty good though

Boro Breakdown with Dana, Tom and Johnny is very good.....at least once a week dissecting the previous game 👍

the Price of Football is decent if you are interested in the money side of Football.

I'm a bit of a music and film buff so love Clash of The Titles...and for music there is always my own podcast Yesterday's Jam 👌

Kermode and Mayo "Take" - I'm undecided on whether it is as good as their BBC show, there are a lot of ads some of them done by them which are harder to tune out.
History Extra - BBC History all sorts of historical topics might be Witchfinders, Normans after 1066, WW1 each podcast has a different expert and you can simply skip the ones you are not interested in.
No Such Thing As A Fish - can get a bit samey but one I dip into every now and then.
The Curious Cases of Rutherford & Fry - Prof Hannah Fry and Dr Adam Rutherford answer correspondents Science questions. Recently, all about water, AI, why we like being scared and Colour perception. Probably my current favourite.

Go through spells of listening to podcasts, including some that the OP mentioned. James Smith was a good one but kinda gone off him now, enjoy Undr the Cosh, Peter Crouch Podcast, Football Cliche's is always a good laugh.

I used to love Bob Mortimer's Athletico Mince back in the day.

Audiobooks are great as well especially when around the pool, the latest one I listened to was Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty.
