Does Carrick want the job or not?

It’s a reasonable time to take over Boro, just after we failed at home to beat the bottom of the league.
If we had even scraped a win yesterday, Carrick would be taking us to PNE after Leo had managed Boro to consecutive wins, and anything but 3 points might bring criticism.

According to SSN he HAS ACCEPTED to come and we are waiting for his back room staff to be in place. Not sure why people are getting a proper flap on over it.

Probably best for whichever head coach is coming in, to negotiate his own back room staff (if that’s the stumbling block)
otherwise we might as well stay with what we currently have.

Utter rubbish - it's their Cheese Straws that he can't get enough of
 
New backroom staff / assurances about transfer budgets / clubs vision / role of Scott / contract length and wage. I imagine a whole world of things to sort out.

Definitely a lot more 'complicated' than any other Boro manager has had to walk into. I kinda agree with Warnock as in seems to he far to many voices and people making decisions. They are probably offering him the job yet saying 'we are in charge of recruitment'. That's a first st this club.

Oh and that's not even counting the shower on the pitch. I imagine he's wondering 'can I make them better'.

I'm not overly bothered how long it's taking. Just get the right man and one who can work within the clubs new 'vision'. The last 2 managers have both made comments about getting players they didn't want. So whoever comes in needs to be 100% happy with this.
 
Sorting his back room staff? Can’t he start the job without them, or do it all without them. We had four coaches on the bench on Saturday. Can’t Carrick start with the assistance of Leo, Lee, Lids and Grant? Then bring in his team when available?
