It’s the Attitudes that Trump’s changed….although they were always there, especially in the South just waiting for someone to enable them to be voiced again.
In 1956 Rosa Parks sat on a reserved for ‘whites only’ seat on a bus.
That action and what followed was the trigger for the beginning of the civil rights movement.

Today her book “The Life of Rosa Parks” was banned in Florida.

As we know, whilst it's not (yet) literally burning books lest we forget the words of Heinrich Heine - 'where they burn books they will, in the end, burn human beings too'.

Very dangerous times we are living in and by giving airtime to the poisonous hatred of the likes of Farage, Trump etc we have allowed extreme right-wing filth to get a strong foothold in our societies. We must stop it, and quickly.

I posted before I was in a train in the US during trumps time and this was in the north east not the Deep South either.

And it was this old guy who shouted at this young black guy and he shouted “hey boy!, I’m talking to you” And it was clear what he meant by that.

Tbf that's our fault. We sent the god botherers over there. Maybe we should have sent the pig thieves like we did in Oz?
