Eeh you'll never guess who I just saw at the record fair..

Saw him in a restaurant in Nottingham a few years ago, prior to a Dylan concert. Later he tweeted from the arena 'waiting for the big man to come out.'

Was in Stewart’s Park admiring my hero from afar.. I think he was having a kick about with son.. I stood completely in awe just as my dog bolted over and curled out a big fat sloppy todd right at his feet. Utterly mortified I jogged over like Stevie Wonder avoiding eye contact at all cost. Thankfully Sir Slaven waltzed away leaving me alone to my filthy task.. they say never meet your heroes.. I would like to add with a steaming pile of dog eggs freshly delivered by your very own slop hound.

About 17 years ago me and Bernies sons played for the same kids football team.I used to feel sorry for Bernie because every week he would get waylaid by some Boro fan, when obviously he just wanted to watch his son play. Anyway one week we had beat Reading 3 0 in front of 23,000 and Newcastle and Sunderland had both lost. I walked passed Bernie at full time and said your radio programme wont be worth listening too tomorrow. He of course replies why, I said because all the geordies and mackams will want to talk about is our crowd. Next night I tune into the 3 legends and the first caller is into Bernie about our low crowd. Bernie gets straight into him, doesn't give me a mention though.
