I was paying about that per month, for duel, I’m now paying more than that per week and my house is largely cold. Oh well, nevermind, I’ll be dead soon, everyone is welcome to gather round my casket as it’s cremated for a warm. You have to laugh!Still have 10 months of a 5 year deal left.
Been wondering how much it will go up.
Currently paying £81 a month which seems to work out well over 12 months.
Anyone come off similar who can tell me how much their's has gone up to please ?
I was paying £67 a month in Feb last year, now paying £270 a month although bill may be less than that but wanted to cover the big winter bills.Still have 10 months of a 5 year deal left.

Yes. Came off a 3 year fixed deal on Jan 20. It’s fairly easy to calculate what I will be paying going forward. I was also paying £87 pm on my fixed deal. It will go up at least 3 fold.Still have 10 months of a 5 year deal left.

The argument currently bein run by the renewables fraternity is that they need the high profit margin to attract finance and investment in future schemes.Remind me why the war in Ukraine is blamed for pushing up wholesale gas prices and doubling the domestic energy prices, when the majority if Uk energy is from renewable sources?

How is it cherry picked data? and where did I say it was overall energy needs? Is it really.
Electricity accounts for about 20% of energy used in the UK so even with your cherry picked data renewables are providing just over 10% of our energy needs.
