My MOTM today, aggressive going forward with a great pull back for our goal.
Should have shot in the second half when he did all the hard work and the goal opened up for him. Good defensively.... Excellent performance

Could understand him not wanting to shoot with his right foot but was definitely worth having a pop.

Engel is a vastly superior player to Giles IMO. Only one of them has a chance of making it as a PL player and it ain’t Giles.

He did have a good game like - still makes school boy errors though

I think the fact he can go from the sublime to the ridiculous adds to his cult appeal. But he certainly does a hell of a lot more good than bad.

Considering where he was when he first joined it shows great character.

He’s come a long way from that bizarre home game where our players wouldn’t pass him the ball in the first half then he made a great assist in the second half, hasn’t looked back since then.

That long range cross field ball into Jones path is yesterdays second half

Not sure I agree, he has put some brilliant balls in recently, especially the low variety. I think we still need to get the ball out to him more often.

Giles used to put half a dozen delicious crosses in every game! But Giles has moved on and I agree we need to get Engel on the ball in dangerous positions; our goal yesterday a great example
